Still working on the next "real" entry, but in the meantime - it seems there is a possibility that I may become a Real Live Designer. Am in negotiations to market some of my designs. Wish me luck!

Oh, my my my... the New Janet Arnold

For an early Christmas gift, my beloved gave to me Patterns of Fashion 4 (and, alas, last) by Janet Arnold. If you are not a costume junkie, it is all about body linens - shirts, shifts, coifs and caps, ruffs, all sorts of personal accessories made of linen.
I haven't finished reading it yet. But just looking at pictures, I discover that it is entirely possible to plan many many more projects than I will EVER live long enough to even begin, nevermind finish.
But that's okay, because it gives me CHOICES.
